Sunset Road Family Doctor are looking for a GP to join our supportive and friendly team. We are a lovely group practice with a loyal and long standing patient population and an experienced team. We work with a practice enrolment model, with no individual patient loads and additional inbox and repeat prescription support. We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and clinical colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experience
Great communication and leadership skills
Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
Hold full Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at Sunset Road Family Doctors to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical center leadership.
This is a permanent position working 33 hours across 4 days from Monday to Friday.

Do you have what we are looking for?
A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
Experienced practice nurse (required)
Independent vaccinator (preferred)
Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
Willing to continually learn and improve
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
Computer literate
